About
The Instant Museum is an online archive documenting the history of instant cameras. The collection currently includes 89 cameras from Polaroid, Fujifilm, Lomography, Leica, MiNT, spanning from 1948 to the present.
Instant photography began with Edwin Land's Polaroid Model 95 in 1948 and has since evolved through roll film, pack film, integral film, and digital hybrid formats. This archive aims to catalog every camera that has participated in that story.
The archive is organized by brand, film format, and chronology. Each camera entry includes specifications, production dates, and historical context where available.
